C-130 "Franken-Hurc" is fully disassembled and destroyed at the 934th Airlift Wing. The parts were sold and recycled. Time-lapse video shows the end of life for this Air Force workhorse.

I've hopped out of more than a few of these. Never really worried climbing into a 130. Some other planes on the other hand...

All those man hours put in to build, to fly, and maintain that aircraft. And shes destroyed so simply and crudely. O well, a death of one bird is a birth of another.

I hope not either. If it does... that is one beer i would buy and never drink. It would be a gleaming reminder how quickly a machine of might and great power becomes paralyzed, weak, and tossed out for garbage.
